Cookie policy

What onlytap.es stores in your browser, what it is for and how to change your choice.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember something from one page to the next or from one visit to the next. Other technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, work in a similar way and this policy treats them the same.
2. What this website uses
We use as little as possible and group it into the same two types you will see in the settings panel:
- Necessary: they remember your cookie choice. They are always on and do not need your permission.
- Analytics: they count, in aggregate, how many people visit the website and which pages they look at. They are set by Google Analytics and only switch on if you accept them.
We do not use advertising cookies.
3. Cookie table
This is what the website stores in your browser. We keep it up to date whenever something changes.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ot_consent |
onlytap.es (first party), in the browser’s local storage | Remember whether you have accepted or rejected analytics. | 24 months at most | Necessary. Does not need consent. |
_ga |
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) | Tell visits apart to produce usage statistics. | 2 years | Analytics. Needs consent. |
_ga_VCTKLQSJVZ |
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) | Keep the session state for those statistics. | 2 years | Analytics. Needs consent. |
4. How to accept, reject or change your choice
The first time you visit, a notice lets you choose between ‘Accept’, ‘Reject’ or ‘Settings’, with nothing ticked in advance. ‘Accept’ and ‘Reject’ carry the same weight, and no analytics cookie switches on until you choose.
You can change your mind whenever you like from ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page: withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it. We keep your choice for 24 months at most; after that, or if the cookies we use change, we ask you again.
5. How to delete or block them in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. These are the official guides for the most widely used ones:
- Google Chrome (opens in a new tab)
- Mozilla Firefox (opens in a new tab)
- Safari on Mac (opens in a new tab)
- Safari on iPhone (opens in a new tab)
- Microsoft Edge (opens in a new tab)
If you block them all, the website will still work, but we may ask for your choice on every visit.
6. Third parties and transfers
The analytics cookies belong to a third party, Google, and only switch on if you accept them. Google processes that data on our behalf, as a data processor, and may process it on servers outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use or their providers, we will update the table and, when needed, ask for your choice again.
